Deputy Lieutenant Debbie Taverner attended the Stevenage Together Awards as a guest of the Mayor Jim Brown .

There were 11 awards across various categories, Business , Sport , Environment , STEM including rising stars . All celebrating community champions who have made an impact on the life of others .

Debbie said – It was inspiring to hear about the dedication of all the winners and celebrate their achievements.

Stevenage Mayor, local dignitaries, business leaders, and residents gathered on Saturday, October 26, at the Gordon Craig Theatre for the annual Stevenage Together Awards ceremony, where several local heroes were honoured.

Also in attendance were the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire Annie Brewster and the Chair of Herts County Council Terry Douris
