Stevenage Holocaust Memorial Day 2025

On 27th January 2025, Dr. Sally Burton DL represented the Lord-Lieutenant at the Stevenage Holocaust Memorial Day
event, The event started with an introduction by Terry Wolfe from the Stevenage Liberal Synagogue, followed by addresses by Sally Burton, Mayor Cllr Jim Brown, MP for Stevenage Kevin Bonavia, Deputy Mayor Cllr Nazmin Chowdury, Council Leader Richard Henry and Youth Mayor Lahaina Sutherland.

There was an extremely moving presentation by Judith Hayman on “The Family Who Survived Against The
Odds” and lighting of the Memorial Candle by Rabbi Danny Rich.
