Royal Humane Society Awards 2023

Dr Sally Burton DL, represented the Lord-Lieutenant on 14 December 2023, to present Royal Humane Society Awards at the Hertfordshire Constabulary Headquarters in Welwyn Garden City. These are presented on behalf of the Society’s Royal Patron, HRH Princess Alexandra, and given to members of the police force who have gone beyond their duty to save lives. In this case, an award also went to a member of the public who had saved a man’s life in Stevenage. Constabulary Awards were also presented by the High Sheriff for Long Service and Good Conduct, OWL Awards and Chief Constable’s Commendations.
