Our Gracious and beloved Queen. You are the only monarch I have ever known and you have been a part of all our lives as we have followed you through all the years. You represent all that is great in this nation and you will be talked about by future generations centuries from now. As a Scotsman I hope we did you as proud as you did us. My deepest condolences to the new King and all his family on the loss of a wonderful mother and Queen. This is a sad time for you and the whole country. We will all miss this great lady from our lives. She came to the throne when we were a Yr old and we have never been without her in our lives, its going to take a great King to replace her but I'm certain that King Charles is that man. RIP Queen Elizabeth,long live King Charles.

You were born into a world of money and privilege, but the price was a life that was never all your own, of not being able to follow your own ambitions, of a government of Victorian / Edwardian old men sending you away from your young children, sometimes for months on end. You never complained and always acted with grace, your faith kept you strong during a lifetime of service to your country and your country thanks you for it. Rest in peace beside Philip once more.

Thank you for your service you kept us young ones happy when times are hard and through covid-19 where we weren't able to see or touch people. I remember watching the news and reading the newspaper that you opened the jubilee maternity ward in Stevenage Hertfordshire where I had 5 beautiful children. your smile was very contagious and warming. you can now rest in eternal peace and be with your loving husband sending you angels for extra protection x

Even through troubled times within our Royal Family I remain a Royalist and cannot fully express my feelings for the extreme loving and reign of Elizabeth II. I am aged 72 and as a 2/3 year old I was in The Mall for the Coronation in 1953. Not on my own of course but with my parents and family. We will not see the same ever again!
