Tree Planting at St John the Baptist Church, Great Gaddesden

On 5 December The Lord-Lieutenant, accompanied by Deputy Lieutenant Jo Connell, visited St John the Baptist Church in Great Gaddesden to plant a tree as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy. He was helped by the pupils on the School Council of Great Gaddesden Church of England Primary School.  Following the tree planting, he visited each class in the school and answered questions from the children. As always there was great interest in his sword, which he was able to unsheathe to show the children.
