Latvian Consulate for Hertfordshire

Latvia now has a consulate in Northwood – at the home of Sir Mark and Lady Boleat in Westbury Road.  

The consulate was formally established at a reception on October 3 presided over by the Latvian Ambassador to the UK, Her Excellency Baiba Braže, who spoke about the long and close contacts that existed between Britain and Latvia.  

Sir Mark Boleat, said he had developed a strong relationship with Latvia when he was the political leader of the City of London between 2012 and 2017 and that he was delighted to help promote business and education links between Latvia and Hertfordshire. 

The Lord-Lieutenant Robert Voss CBE was pleased to meet the Latvian Ambassador at the induction of the Latvian Consulate for Hertfordshire.
