Celebrating Notable people with a Blue Plaque

The latest blue plaque to celebrate notable people who lived and worked in St Albans, has been inaugurated at the Marlborough Almshouses in Hatfield Road. The plaque is dedicated to Sarah Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough who had the almshouses built 1734-36. Deputy Lieutenant David Williams is pictured alongside Professor Tim Boatswain, Chair of St Albans Blue Plaques and David Goodridge, Chair of the Trustees of Marlborough Almshouses.
