Welcome to the Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets 2026

It is always a great pleasure to invest my new Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets each September at Hertford Castle.

The 5 new cadets representing the 3 services as well as St John are the exemplars of their units and a credit to their service.

They follow an excellent cohort last year who attended a huge number of events, including eight royal visits so each cadet got to meet a member of the Royal Family on more than one occasion.

I look forward to working with my 5 new cadets over the coming 12 months.

Welcome to cadet Sergeant Rosie Phillips, Cadet Flight Sergeant Karol Pluta, Leading Cadet Sophia Bernasinski, Cadet Corporal Safia Bhagwan and Cadet Emily Collingwood who will be invested next week.
