Unity in the Community Day at The Grove

On Sunday, 28th September, the Lord-Lieutenant opened the second Unity in the Community day at The Grove. After last year’s success, it was decided to double the size of the event, with 46 charities and well over 1000 local residents enjoying the day (despite the rain), meeting the charities, listening to some fantastic bands and choirs and generally enjoying themselves. Huge thanks to The Grove for their hospitality. The Lord-Lieutenant said it is his intention to see if this can be even bigger next year.
