Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue and Community Protection Long Service Awards

Dr Sally Burton DL represented the Lord-Lieutenant at the Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service & Community Protection Long Service and Good Conduct Presentation at the Joint Service Academy in Stevenage on 27th September 2024. The Firefighters’ medal is issued under Royal Warrant and was awarded by the Chief Fire Officer to 11 worthy recipients for their 20 years’ service. 30 Year Service Medal Clasps and Certificates for 20 years’ and 40 years’ Service were also awarded.

Also present were the High Sheriff Annie Brewster, and Chairman of the Hertfordshire County Council, Cllr Terry Douris.
