Downfield School participate in the CHEXS after-school leadership project

Karen Trew DL joined the children at Downfield Primary School in Cheshunt on 27^th June 2022. They were taking part in the CHEXS after-school leadership sessions funded by BBC Children in Need and were happy to share the activities they had been working on over the last 4 weeks. Karen was delighted to join in their activities and share in the fun!

CHEXS are a family support charity based in Waltham Cross, in the Borough of Broxbourne. Their mission is to build strong relationships, communication and trust within the family. Through teamwork, skills-building and problem-solving they work with children and young people to give them self-esteem, meaning and purpose for the future.
