Welcome to Seven New Deputy Lieutenants of Hertfordshire
On 15TH July Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire-Robert Voss CBE CStJ welcomed seven new Deputy Lieutenants (DLs) at a ceremony at Moor Park Golf Club,
New DLs are chosen by the Lord-Lieutenant to assist him with a raft of duties representing Her Majesty all over the county and the new DLs – who will serve on the active list until their 75th birthday -and then “retire” to the Supplemental List – represent the diverse population of Hertfordshire.
They are:

Dr John Howie (Harpenden)
Martha Lytton Cobbold (Knebworth)
Emma Robarts (Buntingford)
Harjit Singh (Watford)
Karen Trew (Broxbourne)
David Williams. (Harpenden)
Robert Voss said “I am delighted to welcome these outstanding people from all over Hertfordshire who join a hard-working group of DLs and I look forward to working with them in the coming years.”
