QAVS presentation to Mill End Community Centre

The Lord-Lieutenant accompanied by Kate Holland-Hibbert DL-one of the assessors-presented the Queen’s Award for Volunteers to Mill End Community Centre in glorious sunshine in their garden. To ensure compliance with the current COVID regulations-only a representative number of the many volunteers were present and collected their QAVS badges. The Lord-Lieutenant commented: “The amazing and varied activities at the centre ensure that the lives of many in the local community are improved and enhanced”.
