Visit to The Living Room in St. Albans

Dame Claire Bertschinger DL and Dr Helen Hanbury DL visited ‘The Living Room’ in St Albans on Tuesday 14th May.

The Living Room has a vision of a future where people with the illness of addiction are able to live their lives free from an addiction to drugs, alcohol or behaviours, becoming contributing citizens in society.The aim of the organisation is to break the family cycle of addiction (both substance and behavioural addictions).

The team at the centre has an above average success rate of 55% compared to the national average of 33%.
