Watford Chinese Association’s New Year Culture Show

On Sunday 15th February, DL Marion Brown was delighted to attend the Watford Chinese Association’s New Year Cultural Show at the Palace Theatre in Watford. The evening was full of music, dance, singing, acrobatics and illusion and was a wonderful celebration of the start of the Year of the Horse. Commentary to the evening was given in Mandarin and English. It was especially good to see all ages represented amongst the performers, with several Chinese Associations from other parts of the country participating. The evening was attended by the local MP, several Councillors and the Deputy Mayor of Watford. A wonderful colourful spectacular and a great way to launch the New Year.
