Ten Cherry Trees planted in the CDA Community Garden
Garden volunteers had planted 9 wild cherry trees in CDA Herts’ Community Garden in St Albans and on a cold and blustery April morning, Kate Belinis DL and Cllr Annie Brewster, Deputy Chairman of Herts County Council planted the 10th tree.
The wild cherry trees supplied by Herts Native Trees were already in blossom and we were all delighted to have planted the 10 trees to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and be part of the Queen’s Green Canopy.
