Roundwood Park School Celebrates the Jubilee and plants trees for the QGC

Deputy Lieutenant John Howie was delighted to be a part of the Roundwood Park School Jubilee celebrations and planting trees for the Queen’s Green Canopy.

Roundwood Park School, Harpenden, arranged the planting of 7 trees as part of the Jubilee celebrations to represent the 7 decades of Her Majesty’s reign. Each of the seven student Houses within the school were responsible for the planting and ongoing maintenance of the trees. The trees have been planted close to the school sports facilities to provide shade for future generations of Roundwood Park School students.
