Planting of 20 trees at Batchwood Golf Course for the Queen’s Jubilee

On 18 March 2022, a bright sunny day, Akhtar Zaman DL attended the Planting of 20 trees at Batchwood Golf Course for the Queen’s Jubilee. He was met by Miles Soppet (Friends of Batchwood) and James McNulty (1Life Leisure) and many of the volunteers were in attendance for the planting. Additionally, in attendance were the Mayor of St. Albans Councillor Edgar Hill, and Councillors Allison wren and Anthony Rowlands.

It was wonderful to see and learn about the great work done by Friends of Batchwood.
