Official Opening of North Herts Museum

Neville Reyner DL opened the new North Hertfordshire Museum on Saturday 6^th July. The North Herts Museum is a new district museum covering the social history of the local area (Hitchin, Letchworth, Royston, Baldock and surrounding villages).

Recently the district has been without a designated social history museum and the opening of this facility marks the end of a project spanning many years to build a modern, sustainable home for the district’s history to be displayed and enjoyed.
