Alan and Kathleen Heighway’s 60th Wedding Anniversary

On Saturday 6^th September, Deputy Lieutenant Adam K Ginder presented a card and our congratulations to Alan and Kathleen Heighway on the occasion of their 60^th Wedding Anniversary. Alan & Kath’s family had arranged a family party, however, they had kept the visit of the Lieutenancy as a surprise. Mr Ginder gave a short speech highlighting how the couple met, their courtship, wedding, and milestones of their six decades of marriage. The couple were incredibly honoured to receive the card on behalf of HM Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire and his deputies.
