Broxbourne D-Day 80th Anniversary

On 6th June 2024 at 9.15 pm, beacons were lit at three locations in the Borough of Broxbourne to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Karen Trew DL attended the beacon lighting hosted by Wormley Community Centre with the Mayor of Broxbourne, Cllr Sherrie McDaid. The event was very well attended by the local community as well as by local councillors and Cheshunt Sea Cadets. A lovely event for everyone!
