Sele School Pupils complete the Airbus “We Build it Better” Programme
Category : Events
On 9th July Marion Brown DL was delighted to present certificates to students from Sele School, Hertford who had graduated from the Airbus “We Build It Better” programme. The event was hosted by Airbus in Stevenage and was a celebration of the achievement of all the students who had participated in the programme over the past year. The initiative aims to inspire young people to study STEM subjects at GCSE and to encourage them to consider a career in science in the future. Students were very enthusiastic about what they had learned through the programme. It was good to hear from Airbus staff about the work they do and also the history of the Stevenage site. The evening concluded with some inspirational words from an Airbus graduate about her experiences and her passion to work in the field of engineering.
