Hertfordshire Constabulary Christmas Carol Service 2025

Emma Robarts DL represented the Lord-Lieutenant in reading the first lesson at the Hertfordshire Constabulary Christmas carol service on Wednesday 10th December.  Other lessons were read by High Sheriff Nicholas Buxton, Chief Constable Andy Prophet and the Police & Crime Commissioner Jonathan Ash-Edwards.  The police chaplain gave an address and the police choir sang beautifully.  Messages in the Order of Service included an acknowledgement by the Chief Constable that policing never stops, with an expression of gratitude to those who work over Christmas to keep our communities safe: “The sacrifices you and your families make do not go unnoticed and are very much appreciated.”
