An amazing public servant, supporting his wife, HM The Queen during their 73 years of marriage, a great ambassador for the UK, promoting the great Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and dealing with family difficulties which were very much in the public domain. Add that to his service in the Royal Navy and you end up with someone who has given so much to this country. May his memory be a blessing.
